Performance

Both Bards and Dancers learn early on that simply singing or dancing is never enough for a crowd, or for a single individual. They learn that one must put their heart and soul into it and create not just a musical or dance number but an entire performance in which to entice and awe those that would look upon their arts. The successful nature of their performance varies, sometimes the audience will adore it and their songs and dances will become even stronger other times the reception may be lukewarm and nothing spectacular happens.
