Dwarf

The dwarves from the Dwarven Caves are a happy bunch. Led by King Giott, they show that you don't have to be tall to be a force upon Ivalice. Many remember the dwarves mainly for their assistance in saving the world from Zeromus' influence. The airship builder Cid had even spent a good amount of time in their care and was impressed by how hard the dwarves worked in everything they did. Including having to help him perform some impromptu repairs to his airship, 'The Enterprise'.

Your every-day average dwarf stands between 3-4 feet in height. Their hair and eye color are normally more earthen tones; blacks, browns, reds, and yellows. Exceptions have been found, and no dwarf will look upon another dwarf in disgust just becasue of blue hair and white eyes. Every dwarf, with the exception of a handful of women, has a long full beard. Most dwarves take up the routes that best suit their lifestyles when it comes to classes. Engineer, Cleric, and Battlerager are three that are found most often, but dwarves are very stubborn folk. If one wanted to learn the arcane arts and become a black mage they wouldn't hesitate (and probably end up singing his/her beard off!)
